Allen G. Stuckey, age 83 of Sycamore, Ohio died at 7:40 P.M., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. He was born on March 10, 1942 in Bloomville, Ohio to Carl and Alta (Ziegler) Stuckey. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra L. (Lahr) Stuckey.
Allen is survived by three children; Lynn (Gary) Fisher of Ada, Michigan, Amy (Damon) Mollenkopf of Westerville, Ohio and Chris (Ashleigh) Stuckey of Bucyrus, Ohio: four grandchildren; Andrew and Rachel Mollenkopf and Adison and Ava Stuckey, and sister, Martha Swalley of Sycamore, Ohio.
Allen was a lifelong farmer and retired after 43 years at PPG, Crestline, Ohio.
He was a 1960 graduate of Lykens High School, where he was a basketball standout, a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church, Bucyrus, Ohio and in the second class of the Wynford Sports Hall of Fame. He was a former member of the Wynford School Board and a member of the Crawford County Farm Bureau.
For hobbies, Allen loved to take his boat to Lake Erie and go fishing. He followed all the Wynford sports teams, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland professional teams. Allen enjoyed golfing and traveling after his retirement.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Good Hope Lutheran Church, Bucyrus, Ohio with Pastor Tanyce Addison officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Baseline Cemetery, rural Bloomville, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio and from 10:00 A.M - 11:00 A.M. Monday prior to the funeral service at the church.
