Anna C. Anderson

Anna C. Anderson, age 84 of St. Francis Home died at 10:15 P.M., Saturday, June 29, 2024. She was born on June 6, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio to Romolo and Mary (Sammartino) Amicarelli. She married Robert L. Anderson on July 27, 1967 and he died November 27, 2009.

Surviving are the following children: Barbara “Sue” Smitchens, Dayton, Ohio, Celinda (Gary) Scherger, Tiffin, Ohio, George (Tammy) Toner, Green Springs, Ohio, Anita (Richard) Reinhart, Alvada, Ohio, John Toner, Tiffin, Ohio and Bob (Beth) Anderson, Tiffin, Ohio. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas and Carmine Amicarelli, besides her parents. 

Anna was a retired legal secretary having worked 28 years for Patrick Dell Esq/Dell Burtis and Anspach, Tiffin, Ohio.

She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Sycamore, Ohio and was a 1957 graduate of Holy Cross High School, Columbus, Ohio.

For hobbies, Anna loved to camp. At one time, she and her husband were part owners of Riverbend Family Campground in Caledonia, Ohio. She loved to spend winters in McAllen, Texas, read, and loved to crochet. Anna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral mass for Anna will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Sycamore, with the Rev. Matt Rader officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home prior to the funeral mass at the church.
