Annabel M. Stansbery, age 85 of Portsmouth, Ohio died at 1:14 A.M., Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born on October 26, 1940 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Harry and Edith (Nicholson) Ginter Zornes Sr. She married Richard Stansbery and they later divorced. She then married Jose Murillo and they later divorced.
Surviving are the following children: Allen (Barbara) Stansbery, Sycamore, Ohio, Dean Stansbery, Mansfield, Ohio, Eric Stansbery, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Sharon Woodford, Paducah, Kentucky, and Mary (Bill) Rollings, Ocala, Florida. Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Pruitt, Vanceburg, Kentucky, Retha (Doug) Castle, Mt. Gilead, Ohio and two brothers, Walter Burch, Monterey, Tennessee, and Doug (Tina) Bader, Martel, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jasper Stansbery, and nine brothers and sisters.
Annabel was a motel manager for many years. She was a member of Route 7 Mission, Greenup, Kentucky and the Forest Church of God. She loved to play computer games and watch TV.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 3, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. at the Forest Church of God with Pastor James Robinette officiating.
