Arthur Ziegler

Arthur Ziegler, age 86, of Tiffin, Ohio and formerly of Melmore, Ohio died at 12:06 A.M., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at The Willows at Tiffin. He was born on April 10, 1934 in Eden Township, Seneca County to Calvin and Hattie (Bartholomew) Ziegler. He married Marilyn (Pippert) Ziegler in Kipton, Ohio on November 2, 1958 and she survives. They were married sixty-two years.                                                         

Also surviving are four sons, David (Maxine) Ziegler, Columbus, Ohio, Brian (Louise) Ziegler, Tiffin, Ohio, Douglas (Lisa) Ziegler, Tiffin, Ohio and Jonathan (Heather) Ziegler, Tennessee. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Ashley (Jonathan) Kirby, Sunny (Russell) Bowen, Kaitlyn (Joseph) Fruth, Stephani (Joseph) Gonzales, Samantha (Ian) Berridge, Lexi (Carson) Murray, Colman Ziegler and Lauren Ziegler plus four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Jillian Kirby and Asher and Alexander Berridge. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Roberta  Pippert and a brother-in-law, Irvin (Betty) Pippert, Wakeman, Ohio. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, George Ziegler and three sisters, Lois Pippert, Mabel Lawrence and Alice Crum.                                                                                                                                                                                       

Arthur graduated from Melmore High School in 1952 and was a lifelong farmer until he retired in 2010. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A zoom memorial service is planned for in the future. Online expressions of sympathy can be made at www.waltonmoorefuneralhome.com.
