Bonnie L. Long, age 94 of rural Sycamore, Ohio died at 1:10 P.M., Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on April 21, 1931 in Seneca County to Roy and Evelyn (Swerline) Geary. She first married Thomas Ingman and they later divorced. She then married William Long in 1963 and he died in 1976.
Surviving are the following children: Vicki Weininger, Sycamore, Ohio, Larry (Bridget) Long, Louisiana, Carolyn (Glenda) Long, Florida, Cindy (John) Bates, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Bob (Lisa) Long, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Brenda (Quint Clady) Beekman, Sycamore, Ohio, Brad (Christy) Long, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Bridgett (Ted Babcock) Book, rural Sycamore, Ohio, and Brandi (Mike) Ekleberry, Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren, plus one brother, Carl (Deb) Geary, Kentucky. Bonnie was preceded in death by a sister, Patti Geary, and a brother, Berlyn Geary.
Bonnie was a homemaker, attended the Sycamore United Methodist Church, was a 1949 graduate of Sycamore High School, a member of the former Sycamore Lioness Club and currently a member of the Sycamore American Legion Auxiliary #250.
Bonnie loved to cook and bake all kinds of cakes. She was well known for her macaroni salad. She loved to watch her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Bonnie will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Lindsay Robinson officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held after the graveside at the Sycamore United Methodist Church where lunch will be served.
