Christine A. Zaenger

Christine A. Zaenger, age 78 of rural Tiffin, Ohio died at 5:29 A.M., Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Bridge Hospice, Findlay, Ohio. She was born on January 30, 1946 to Melvin and Beatrice (Smolinski) Konieczka. They are deceased. She married Herbert J. Zaenger on September 24, 1964 and he survives in rural Tiffin, Ohio. 

Surviving are the following children: Jeffrey (Tina) Zaenger, Florida, Julie (Rod) Vogel, Tiffin, Ohio and Joel (Lorraine) Zaenger, rural McCutchenville, Ohio. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Brandee, Makenzie, Lee (Hannah), Katie (Shiloh), Sadie, Sarah and two great-grandchildren, Cleo and Lane, and a brother, Dale (Karen) Konieczka, of Wisconsin.

Christine was a registered X-Ray Technician having worked in Toledo for over 20 years. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, was a graduate of McAuley High School in Toledo, and attended the University of Toledo to get her degree to be a X-Ray technician.

For hobbies, Christine loved to have a garden and loved raising flowers. She looked forward to taking small trips mainly in the fall to see the changing of the leaves. Christine also loved nursing animals back to health for the Seneca County Humane Society.  She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service for Christine will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
