Debra S. Davis, age 70 of rural Sycamore, Ohio died at 10:57 A.M., Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on December 6, 1954 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Robert W. and Dolores A. (Nusbaum) Holman. She married Richard Davis on December 9, 1973 and he survives.
Surviving are two sisters, Beverly (Gene) Brause, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Connie (Kenny Pauley) Brause, rural Sycamore, Ohio and one brother, Chuck (Christy) Holman, rural Sycamore, Ohio. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Brause, and her parents.
Debra started working out of high school at McDonald’s and then met her husband and they ran a root beer trailer that traveled all over the state of Ohio going to festivals, carnivals and county fairs. Then, later in life, worked at the Benton General Store with her sister.
Debra was a 1973 graduate of Mohawk High School. For hobbies, she loved to sew and did a lot of sewing for friends and neighbors in the area. She loved to babysit her nieces and nephews and go traveling to the Amish and to flea markets in the area.
A funeral service for Debra will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery, Crawford County, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
