Delbert L. Chester

Delbert L. Chester, age 61 of 106 East Eighth Street, Sycamore, Ohio died Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at home. He was born on January 9, 1958 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Donald O. and Kathryn M. (Baker) Chester. They both are deceased. Delbert never married.                                                                     

Delbert is survived by six brothers and one sister: Danny (Mary) Chester, Granville, Ohio, Don Chester, Tiffin, Ohio, Dave (Mary Beth) Chester, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Dale Chester, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Denny (Lu) Chester, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Diane (Jim) Beidelschies, Upper Sandusky, Ohio and Doug (Jean) Chester, rural Sycamore, Ohio.                                                                                                                                                  

Delbert was self-employed in the lawn care business, was a 1976 graduate of Mohawk High School and was a social member of the Sycamore American Legion. For hobbies he loved to watch The Ohio State University Buckeyes on TV whether it was football or basketball.                                     

A memorial service for Delbert will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery, Crawford County, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 11:00-1:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
