Donald Riedel

Donald Riedel, 84, of West Frankfort, Illinois passed away Sunday February 9, 2025 in Parkway Manor – Marion, Illinois at 12:47a.m.

Donald was born August 19, 1940 in Sycamore, Ohio to Paul Roosevelt and Lilah (Haines) Riedel.  He attended First Baptist Church in Marion, Illinois.  Donald graduated with a Masters Degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in Michigan.  He loved the Lord and was a minister for many years having served in five different states.  Don traveled to all fifty states and several foreign countries.

He was preceded in death by his son, Greg Riedel, in 1969; and his parents.

Donald is survived by Beverly Riedel who he married August 1, 1965; brother, John (Sue) Riedel; sister, Joyce Light; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be he held at Walton-Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore, Ohio at a later date.
