Douglas F. Bland

Douglas F. Bland, age 62 formerly of 11815 Township Road 145, Findlay, Ohio and formerly of Sycamore, Ohio, died at 4:26 P.M., Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab. He was born on July 21, 1960 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to William F. and Donna L. (Wertz) Bland. William died January 14, 2023 and Donna survives in Findlay, Ohio.

He is survived by a sister, Amie (Scott Dutton) Bland, Findlay, Ohio and two nieces, KiaLynne Bland, Columbus, Ohio and DeLainie Bland, Findlay, Ohio. He is also survived by a girlfriend, Tara Johnson, Kenton, Ohio. 

He at one time was an assembler at Whirlpool of Findlay, was a 1978 graduate of Mohawk High School, attended Dillon Road Baptist Church in Fostoria and currently was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church in Seneca County. For hobbies, he loved to cook, sew and do flower arranging where he won many times at the Ohio State Fair and various county fairs in the area. 

Funeral services for Douglas will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Jesse Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Seneca County, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M., Saturday, prior to the funeral service.
