Ester D. Perkins

Ester D. Perkins, age 73 of 410 FairLane (Willows of Tiffin) died at 5:47 A.M., Monday, June 22, 2020 at Mercy Health-Tiffin. She was born on October 10, 1946 in Windber, Pennsylvania to Glen and Elva (McDannell) Messersmith.

Surviving are the following family: John (Tamara) Lynch, Tiffin, Ohio, and Adam (Danielle) Perkins, Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Wyatt Lynch, Morgan Schmidbauer, and Gracie Steinhauser, plus three great-grandchildren, Colt Schmidbauer, Karmin Schmidbauer, and Max Steinhauser. Also surviving are one sister, Nita (Randy) Heck, Tiffin, Ohio, and three brothers, Bert (Linda) Messersmith, rural Tiffin, Ohio, Roy (Victoria) Messersmith, Louisville, Kentucky, and Lynn (Verna) Messersmith, Findlay, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandy Lynch, who died in November 2010.

Ester worked at Guardian Industries, Upper Sandusky, Ohio for twenty years. She was a 1964 graduate of Mohawk High School, was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Tiffin, Ohio, and was a volunteer for many years at Angeline School and Industries, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Ester for hobbies loved all sorts of crafts, loved to do ceramics, sew, and especially loved to make quilts.

Graveside service for Ester will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Lois Moranville officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio.
