Eva M. Moore

Eva M. Moore, age 91 of 1330 South Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio and formerly of Sycamore, Ohio died at 9:35 P.M., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Edgewood Manor, Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born on November 21, 1926 in Carey, Ohio to Forrest and Mabel (Smith) Wenner. She married Paul G. Moore on September 21, 1950 and he died August 16, 1972.

Eva is survived by two daughters, Cassi (Bill) Bishop, Port Clinton, Ohio and Teri (Dave) Walter, Amherst, Ohio. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Bryan(Tami) Bishop, Mike (Val) Bishop, Josh (Crysten) Bishop and Brittany (Kyle) Cuthbert and five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Cole, Caleb and Lila Bishop. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Betty Earl, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Ken (Norma) Wenner, Powell, Ohio, Gene (Barb) Wenner, Prior Lake, Minnesota,  Wendel (Syb) Wenner, Carey, Ohio and Rosie (Roger) Woods, Carey, Ohio. Also surviving are three sister-in-laws, Marita Wenner, rural Tiffin, Ohio, Shirley Wenner, Findlay, Ohio and Marcile Moore, Sycamore, Ohio. Eva was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Jack Wenner.  

Eva was a retired RN having worked over fifty years at Sycamore Medical Associates, Sycamore, Ohio. She was a 1944 graduate of Carey High School, was a member of the Sycamore United Church of Christ where she served on various committees over her lifetime. She was also involved with the local bloodmobile drives within the community and also served on the board of the Wyandot County Council on Aging. For hobbies Eva loved to read, sew, travel, loved carving and woodworking, gardening, bird watching and taking walks.  

Funeral services for Eva will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Paul Fraser officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
