Gary A. Sandridge

Gary A. Sandridge, age 78 of rural Sycamore, Ohio died at 3:19 A.M., Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on December 9, 1945 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Lorence and Beulah (Burnette) Sandridge. He married Peggy (Gribben) Sandridge on February 3, 1968 in Sycamore, Ohio.

Surviving are a daughter, Stephanie Jones, Fort Wayne, Indiana, three grandchildren, two great- grandchildren and a sister, Vicki Wines, Lake Placid, Florida. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a sister, Donna Boerge, besides his parents. 

Gary worked 36 years as an Inspector for the PUCO Railroad Division of the State of Ohio, was a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, was a member of the American Legion Post #605, Waldo, Ohio and served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 1966-1972. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, west of Sycamore, with the Rev. Steve Sturgeon officiating.
