Jean L. Bonin

Jean L. Bonin, age 73 of 7060 South Township Road 131, Tiffin, Ohio died at 9:09 A.M., Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born on March 2, 1948 in Tiffin, Ohio to William and Mary (Serr) Trausch. She married Craig S. Bonin on June 16, 1968 and he survives.                                

Surviving are a son, Kevin Bonin, rural Tiffin, Ohio and a daughter, Kari (Mike) Kelbley, rural Tiffin, Ohio, three grandchildren, Alex (Madi) Kelbley, Brett Kelbley and companion, Regan, and Connor Kelbley plus a great-granddaughter, Emersyn Jean due to arrive in January 2022. She also is survived by one brother, John (Sue) Trausch, Tiffin, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son, Craig Bonin Jr. and her parents.                         

Jean was a homemaker and at one time worked at the former G.E. Plant in Tiffin, Ohio. She was a graduate of Columbian High School and attended Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.  

For hobbies, she loved to knit, play trivia on the internet and spoil her grandchildren.                                            

At her request the funeral service will be private.
