Jed Hartschuh Obituary

Jed R. Hartschuh, age 60 of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away at 3:02 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2020 at Marion General Hospital after a short bout with cancer. He was born on November 7, 1959 in Tiffin, Ohio to Herman S. and Mary Ellen (Creeger) Hartschuh.

 

Jed is survived by a girlfriend, Laurie Drake, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, two sisters, Dola (Tom) Loose, rural Sycamore Ohio, Bette Hartschuh, Columbus, Ohio, three brothers, Tim (Susan) Hartschuh, rural Tiffin, Ohio, Rick (Jolynn) Hartschuh, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and Brad Hartschuh, Tiffin, Ohio. Jed was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Linda Hartschuh in 1998.

 

Jed was a graduate of Mohawk High School and worked for Kroger Company, Findlay, Ohio for 30 years. He was a member of Sycamore United Church of Christ and was the current assistant custodian of the church. For hobbies, he loved to spend time with family and friends.

 

A private family graveside service, due to the coronavirus, will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. The Rev. Doctor Matthew Zuehlke will be officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Sycamore United Church of Christ or the donors’ choice in care of Walton-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 350, Sycamore, Ohio 44882.
