Joean Green

Joean Green, age 79 of 6022 South State Route 67, Tiffin, Ohio died at 2:03 P.M., Monday, April 11, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio. She was born on December 29, 1942 in Cambridge, Ohio to Norman and Edra (Sigman) Hoerig. She first married Stanley Hayman and they later divorced. She then married Dave Green on August 13, 1983 and he survives. 

Surviving are the following children, David (Ruth) Hayman, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Jodell (Randy) Wagner, rural Tiffin, Ohio and Jennie (Jerry) Czernewski, Vero Beach, Florida. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Barb (Ron) Smith, Benton, Ohio. Joean was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, two brothers and her parents.                                                                              

Joean was a retired factory worker, member of the First Lutheran Church, Tiffin, Ohio and was a Den Mother for scouting for many years in the area. For hobbies, she loved to bowl having bowled in several leagues over the years, sew, do all types of crafts, loved to babysit her grandchildren and enjoyed working in her garden especially pulling weeds. 

Joean’s wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of her Life service will be held at a later date.
