Joyce E. Mullins

Joyce E. Mullins, age 86 of rural Bloomville, Ohio died at 2:45 P.M., Friday, July 5, 2024 at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born on July 27, 1937 in Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, to Bert and Hazel (Shock) Geary. She married Aster Mullins Sr. on December 24, 1958 and he died on March 9, 1994. 

Surviving are a son, Aster (Kay) Mullins Jr., rural Bloomville, Ohio, and three grandchildren, Joyce (Blake) Booker, Mike Birch and Robert Birch. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren: Kaylene, Zane, Jett, Phoenix, Bexley, and Silas. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Sue Mullins, sister, Dorothy Minter, a brother, Wilbur Geary, and two brothers who died in infancy. 

Joyce was a homemaker and was a former member of St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ, rural Bloomville, Ohio. 

Funeral services for Joyce will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Darrin Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
