Larry A. Mackling, Sr.

Larry A. Mackling Sr., age 81 of Sycamore, Ohio died at 8:40 P.M., Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on January 24, 1944 in Tiffin, Ohio to George and Mary (Grimes) Mackling. He married Susan (Gassner) Mackling on November 29, 1969 and she died July 7, 2015.

Larry is survived by one son, Larry Mackling Jr., Tiffin, Ohio and three granddaughters, Emily, Kaitlyn, and Erin Mackling.

Larry worked for many years in Highway Maintenance for the Wyandot County Highway Garage. He was a 1962 graduate of Mohawk High School and a social member of the Sycamore American Legion Post #250. For hobbies, Larry loved to ride his motorcycle around the countryside.                                                                           

Funeral services for Larry will be Monday, March 31, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Visitation will be held on Monday March 31, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
