Lynne R. Geary

Lynne R. Geary, age 63 of rural Tiffin, Ohio died at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on January 20, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio to Thomas and Berdine (Bordner) Emerson. She married Don Geary on March 16,1985 and he survives.                                                                                            

Surviving are a daughter, Sarah (Jesse) Mutchler, Nevada, Ohio, stepmother, Inez Emerson, Tiffin, Ohio and two grandchildren, Jace and Jarrod Mutchler. Lynne also has one brother, Robert (Lisa) Emerson, Springboro, Ohio, two sisters, Sharon (James) Lappin, North Ridgeville, Ohio, Lisa (Doug) Snyder, Bucyrus, Ohio and a stepsister, Kim Cooper, Alvaton, Kentucky. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Staci Geary, and her parents.                                              

Lynne was a member of the Chatfield Nazareth Lutheran Church and was a 1980 graduate of Buckeye Central High School.

Lynne worked for 20 years in the advertisement department of the Advertiser-Tribune Newspaper and also worked four years in the admission office at Heidelberg College.

For hobbies, she loved to do all kinds of crafts, loved to travel, especially down to the Amish Country, but really loved spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services for Lynne will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at St John’s Baseline United Church of Christ, County Road 58, Bloomville, Ohio with Pastor Mike Ebersole and Pastor Kevin Mohr officiating. Burial will follow across the road at St. John’s Baseline Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Friday June 20, 2025 at the church prior to the funeral service.
