M. Maxine (O'Millian) Cochran

M. Maxine (O’Millian) Cochran, age 89 formerly of 7 West Market Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 2:25 A.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at St. Francis Home, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born on September 15, 1933 in Tiffin, Ohio to Roy A. and Jessie M. (Wink) Gregory. She first married George O’Millian in December 1953 and he died July 18, 1974. She then married John Cochran on April 26, 1975 and he died January 12, 2005. 

Surviving are the following children: Gregory (Cindy) O’Millian, Alvada, Ohio, Bonnie (Dan) Parsons, Mt. Cory, Ohio, Stephen (Kim) O’Millian, Fostoria, Ohio, Kevin (Laura) O’Millian, rural Tiffin, Ohio, Jody (Lisa) O’Millian, Tiffin, Ohio and step-son, John Jr. Cochran, rural Tiffin, Ohio. Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky O’Millian, who died on March 12, 2009, a step-son, Steve Cochran, on April 1991, and four brothers, Paul, Judd, Glenn and William Gregory, and one sister, Edna Weigel. 

Maxine retired from the Tiffin Bake Shop after working for thirty-three years. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and was a 1951 graduate of Sycamore High School. For hobbies, she loved to travel having visited forty-eight states during her lifetime and also loved to bake.                                          

Funeral services for Maxine will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Marilyn Coney officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
