Marjorie E. Bookmyer

Marjorie E. Bookmyer, age 96 formerly of 7236 Marion-Melmore Road, Sycamore, Ohio died at 2:50 A.M., Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on August 18, 1922 in Crawford County, Ohio to Wooster A. and Verna (Ohl) Riedel. She married Rolland Bookmyer and he is deceased.

Surviving are a son, Gerald Bookmyer, rural Sycamore, Ohio, four grandchildren, Leeanne, Carla Sue, Gerry Lynn and Jerry plus seven great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.                                                                   

Marjorie was retired from Timken, Bucyrus, Ohio, attended the Sycamore United Methodist Church, was a former member of the Sycamore American Legion, Upper Sandusky VFW and Upper Sandusky Moose Lodge. She also was a member of the United States Trotting Association.                        

For hobbies Marjorie loved to mow yard, play euchre and go watch harness racing around the state of Ohio.

Funeral services for Marjorie will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Pastor Kristin Buchs officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
