Mary C. Parker, age 91 of McCutchenville, Ohio, died at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky, Ohio on September 15, 2023. She was born on August 16, 1932 to the late Williams and Clara (McConnell) Behm. She married Nelson Karcher Jr. in 1952, and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1957, and she then married Frank Parker on September 1, 1962 and he died on May 21, 2023. Surviving are her sons, Bill (Kay) Karcher, Oceola, Ohio, Jim (Vicki) Karcher, Apple Creek, Ohio, and John (Brenda) Parker, McCutchenville, Ohio, along with eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Behm and Bill Behm, and a sister, Molly Welter.
She was a graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. Mary was of the Catholic faith and a member of All Saints Parish in New Riegel, Ohio.
Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and she owned and operated a ceramic shop known as Mary Ceramics in McCutchenville, Ohio.
She was a former member of the ladies auxiliary for the McCutchenville Fire Dept.
She was a master cake decorator and showed her artistic ability in decorating beautiful jeweled eggs and painting on china and porcelain, and also did pouring. Mrs. Parker loved to travel and relax while fishing at McGregor Bay in Canada, and loved eating desserts with ice cream and shipping on brandy or wine.
Private family services will be held at Walton-Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore, Ohio with Fr. Tim Kummerer officiating. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Tiffin, Ohio.
