Nina Maxine Weininger, age 96, of 101 Westbrook Drive, Upper Sandusky, Ohio and formerly of McCutchenville died at 8:00 P.M., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Inn at Westbrook, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on August 10, 1924 in Melmore, Ohio to George W. and Aleta (Kisor) Palmer. She married Charles Joseph Weininger on August 25, 1946 and he died September 23, 1986.
Surviving are the following children, Joyce (Harold) Karcher, Richwood, Ohio and Mike (Sherri) Weininger, Argyle, Texas plus four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kendal and Wayne Palmer and two sisters, Beatrice Weininger and Eileen Burgderfer.
Maxine was a homemaker and in her early years worked at the former Tiffin Glass and was the church secretary at the Trinity United Church of Christ, McCutchenville for many years. She was a 1942 graduate of McCutchenville High School and a 1944 graduate of Tiffin University. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, McCutchenville and was a member of Warpole Lodge # 366 OES, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
At Maxine’s request she is having a private graveside service at Bethel Cemetery, rural McCutchenville, Ohio with Pastor Elyse Cramer officiating.
