Phillistine Caudill

Phillistine Caudill, age 72 of 4491 State Highway 67, Sycamore, Ohio died at 8:02 P.M., Thursday, December 16, 2021 at home. She was born on April 28, 1949 in McDowell, Kentucky to Walker and Ruby (Henderson) Gayheart. She married Estill Caudill on October 1, 1967 and he died on August 10, 2013.

Surviving are a daughter, Tina Swavel, rural Sycamore, Ohio, a son, Ray J. Caudill, rural Sycamore, Ohio, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Surviving also are the following brothers and sisters, Roy Gayheart, Williard, Ohio, Jeffrey Gayheart, Prestonburg, Kentucky, Vurnis Gayheart, South Carolina, Freda Rowe, Williard, Ohio, and Vernice Wagner, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister besides her husband and parents.

Phillistine was a nurse’s aide and a member of Tiro United Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Phillistine will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with Rev. Denver Meade officiating. Burial will follow at Green Berry Hall Cemetery, McDowell, Kentucky.
