Randy (Speedy) G. Spencer

Randy (Speedy) G. Spencer, age 64 of 4522 State Route 231, Sycamore, Ohio died at 8:40 A.M., Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital,  Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on August 22, 1955 in Tiffin, Ohio to Wilbert “Sonny” and Betty (McDanell) Spencer. He married Laura (Sours) Spencer on July 30, 1983 and she survives.                                                                                          

Surviving are the following step-children, John (Jenny) Goodin, Sycamore, Ohio and Lori (Paul) Swecker, Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are seven step-grandchildren, P.J. and Seth Swecker, Jacob Goodin, Zach,Wyatt, Trent and Alex Young plus three brothers, Rick (Janet) Spencer, Wooster, Ohio, Brian (Teresa) Spencer, Carey, Ohio and Kevin (Lisa) Spencer, Sycamore, Ohio.   

Randy was retired from National Lime and Stone, Carey, Ohio. He was a 1974 graduate of Mohawk High School, was also at one time a self-employed truck driver who drove for many trucking companies. His hobby was working on street rods, driving them and also taking them to car shows throughout the area.

Funeral services for Randy will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at  11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery, Wyandot County, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
