Raymond D. Naugle

Raymond D. Naugle, age 80 of Sycamore, Ohio died at 12:41 P.M., Friday, February 4, 2022 at home. He was born on October 18, 1941 in Tiffin, Ohio to Charles and Laura (Runion) Naugle. He married Mary (Babcock) Naugle on August 10, 1963 and she died February 19, 2018.

Surviving are the following daughters, Sandy Nye, Sycamore, Ohio, Laurie Naugle, Forest, Ohio and Linda (Tony) Clark, Clarksville, Tennessee. Also surviving are four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Winnie Garrett, Lakeland, Florida and a brother, Ed (Doris) Naugle, Sebring, Florida. Preceding Raymond was a sister, Jeanette Bond.

Raymond was a union plumber having worked out of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 42, Norwalk, Ohio. After retiring he then worked in the maintenance department of Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Raymond was a member of the Sycamore American Legion Post # 250 and a member of Local 69, Sycamore, Ohio. For a hobby, Raymond loved to ride around town in his golf cart. Raymond also served his country in the Marine Corp from 1958-1963.                                                                                                        

Funeral services for Raymond will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Darcy Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery where the Sycamore American Legion will conduct a military graveside service. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 P.M., prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
