Rebecca C. Knowles

Rebecca C. Knowles, age 79, of 405 Hedges Street, Tiffin, Ohio and formerly of Sycamore, Ohio died at 9:30 A.M., Sunday, December 13, 2020 at home. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 24, 1941 to Melbourne and Crystal (Day) Bogard. She married Merlin Knowles on July 27, 1967 and he died March 3, 1996.                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Surviving are the following children, Luke (Shirley) Chapman, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Ronald Chapman, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Barbara (Allen) Stansbery, Sycamore, Ohio, Marsha (Richard) Mullholand, Tiffin, Ohio and David Knowles, Tiffin, Ohio. Also surviving are twenty-three grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gypsie Chapman, and three brothers and two sisters besides her husband and parents.                                                                     

She was a homemaker and recently became an ordained minister. She was a member of the Forest Church of God and for hobbies she loved to sew, quilt, do all kinds of other crafts and loved to bake.

Funeral services for Rebecca will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. James Robinette officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Due to COVID, it will be required to wear a mask and social distance if attending services on Wednesday.
