Rebecca "Becky" Risner

Rebecca “Becky” Risner, age 68 of rural Sycamore, Ohio died at 10:25 P.M., Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.  She was born on March 25, 1957 in Tiffin, Ohio to Robert and Dorothy (Ingman) Pearce. She married Robert K. Risner June 28, 1975 and he survives. 

Surviving are the following children: Kelly (William) Todd, Summerville, South Carolina, Kasey ( Brian) Roush, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Eric (Amanda) Risner, Wharton, Ohio and Kirsten (Byron) Fox, rural Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, plus five sisters, Sue Moyer, Tiffin, Ohio, Jackie Reinbolt, Tiffin, Ohio, Ann (Marc) Weikert, McCutchenville, Ohio, Bobbi (Greg) Bowers, Sycamore, Ohio, Bette (Richard) Shaw, Mt. Blanchard, Ohio and one brother, Richard (Leda) Granata, Sycamore, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Todd, brother, David Granata, and her parents.

Becky was a homemaker and a 1974 graduate of Mohawk High School. She was a member of the Sycamore American Legion Post #250 Ladies Auxiliary where for many years she hosted the kids Christmas Party.

For hobbies, she loved planting and taking care of outside flowers and also the plants she had indoors. She loved her animals very much but really enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren.                

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at the Sycamore American Legion Post #250. Burial will take place at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville, Ohio at a later date.
