Robert R. Pauley

Robert R. Pauley, age 74 of Sycamore, Ohio died at 9:00 P.M., Friday, September 27, 2024 at home. He was born on August 29, 1950 in Kanawha County, West Virginia to Charles and Anna (Stewart) Pauley. He married Yvonne (Brewer) Pauley on December 18, 1994 and she survives in Sycamore.                                      

Surviving are the following children: Belinda (Steve) Holman, rural Sycamore, Greg (Lisa) Pauley, rural Sycamore, Bryan (Dana) Swartz, Upper Sandusky and Stephanie (Nick) Hufford, rural Tiffin. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Wyatt Swartz, Carson, Cameron and Chase Hufford plus one sister, Roxana (Eugene) Parsons, Eolia, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Swartz, one sister, Loretta Morgan, and six brothers, Charles, Paul, Richard, Larry, Eddie and Ronald Pauley.  

Robert had worked for 20 years at the former Komatsu Dresser, Galion, Ohio. He was a mechanic at Rall’s Automotive and also started up with his nephew, Pauley’s Auto and Lawnmower Repair.

For hobbies, Robert loved to watch old TV shows like Gunsmoke and the Rifleman.                                               

Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:00 A.M, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
