Robert E. Woods

Robert E. Woods, age 73 of 3553 County Highway 43, Upper Sandusky, Ohio died at 4:03 P.M., Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at home. He was born on May 29, 1950 in Kenton, Ohio to Donald and Jane (Mitchell) Woods. They survive in rural Forest, Ohio. He married Rhonda (Vent) Woods on May 13, 1983 and she survives in rural Upper Sandusky, Ohio. 

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa (Kent) Reinbolt, Bascom Ohio, two grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Reinbolt, plus one brother, Dale (Deb) Woods, Delaware, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a son, Kip Woods, who died on May 12, 2011. 

Bob was a Quality Engineer for National Machinery, Tiffin, Ohio for thirty-five years where he retired. As a child, he attended Big Oak Methodist Church, rural Forest, Ohio. He graduated from Riverdale High School in 1968.

He was a 40 year life member of Upper Sandusky Elks Lodge #83, a member of Amvets Post #777, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, a social member of Sycamore American Legion Post #250, a former member of Upper Sandusky Moose Lodge #1093, and a member of Stone Crossing Golf Club, Upper Sandusky, Ohio where over the years he played in a lot of leagues and golf events.

For hobbies, Bob loved to put out a big garden, be on his computer, and loved to travel to casinos in the area. The Ohio State University football team, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions were his favorite sports teams. Every summer Bob looked forward to going to Apple Valley for vacation and to golf. 

At Bob’s request, he wanted a private graveside service with burial at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
