Rodger K. Barth

Rodger K. Barth, age 63 of 10214 Township Highway 132, Nevada, Ohio died at 12:22 P.M., Sunday, July 19, 2020 at home. He was born on November 24, 1956 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Kenneth and Phyllis (Weininger) Barth. Kenneth is deceased and Phyllis survives in rural Sycamore, Ohio. Rodger married Kay (Frisch) Barth on July 1, 1977 and she survives.                                                                                                                                            

Surviving are two daughters, Julie (Thad) Miller, rural Nevada, Ohio and Tyfanie (Corey) Hampshire, Fostoria, Ohio plus six grandchildren and two sisters, Sharon (Steve) Cavanaugh, Noblesville, Indiana, Barbara (Mat) Donalson, Weslaco, Texas and one brother, Jerry (Patricia) Barth, rural Sycamore, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a grandson and his father.                                                                                                                 

Rodger worked at the former Tower Automotive, Upper Sandusky, Ohio as a supervisor for twenty-nine years. He was a 1975 graduate of Mohawk High School and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in McCutchenville, Ohio. For hobbies he loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends.                    

A memorial service for Rodger will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery, rural McCutchenville, Ohio with Pastor Elyse Everhart officiating. Following the burial a Celebration of Rodger’s life with a luncheon will be held at the Trinity United Church of Christ in McCutchenville, Ohio.
