Ron E Gowan

Ron E. Gowan, age 57 of Melmore, Ohio died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 7, 1961 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Julius and Thea (Schwab) Gowan.                                                

He is survived by a daughter, Amber Gowan and fiancée Dustin Filliater, Fostoria, Ohio, two grandchildren, one sister, Sue M. Beidelschies, Sycamore, Ohio and two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Gowan besides his parents.                                                                              

Ron worked in the maintenance department at Toledo Mold & Die, Tiffin, Ohio for 35 years. He was a 1979 graduate of Mohawk High School and was a social member of the Sycamore  American Legion Post # 250. For hobbies he loved to go fishing, loved to ride 4-wheelers and just tinker with stuff.

A funeral service for Ron will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Kristin Buchs officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
