Ruth A. Burger

Ruth A. Burger, age 90 of Seneca House, Tiffin, Ohio died at 3:55 A.M., Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Seneca House. She was born on May 31, 1928 to Lewis and Hadie (Molyet) Wilhelm. She married John Burger on October 15, 1971 and he died November 10, 2017.

Surviving are the following children, Jim (Deb) Fox, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Don (Linda) Fox, Millbury, Ohio and Bob Fox, Carey, Ohio. Also surviving are four step-children, Shirley Spigolon, Lilburn, Georgia, Tim Burger, Platte City, Missouri, John C. Burger, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Karen Bopp, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Also there are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren surviving. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Ruth worked twenty-five years for General Electric plant in Tiffin, Ohio, was a graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and was a former member of the Tiffin Moose Lodge # 846. Ruth and her husband moved to Kissimmee, Florida for thirty years after the General Electric plant closed in Tiffin where they worked at the Citrus House. She also loved to go to Disney World when they moved to Florida.

A memorial service for Ruth will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 24, 2018 at Seneca Memory Gardens Mausoleum Tiffin, Ohio with the Rev. Matt Garrabrant officiating.
