Shirley A. Feasel

Shirley A. Feasel, age 88, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 surrounded by her family and close friend, Belah Bell, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on August 14, 1936 in Sycamore, Ohio to Ralph and Alice (Dunlap) Hannum. She married Howard Feasel on June 18, 1954 and he died April 5, 2020.

Surviving are the following children: Becky (George) Solander, Sycamore, Ohio, Jerry (Carla) Feasel, Byesville, Ohio, and Jeff (Linda Paxton) Feasel, Tucson, Arizona. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Darcy (Patrick) Zimmerman, Sycamore, Ohio, Jenese (Josh) Ekleberry, Sycamore, Ohio, Natalie (Danny Leeth) Fleming, Sycamore, Ohio, Stefanie (Larry) Hushour, rural Sycamore, Ohio, and Janelle (Codee) Morris, Dunkirk, Ohio, plus 13 great-grandchildren. Shirley is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Lundy, and two brothers, Don and Jack Hannum.

Shirley worked as a clerk in the Wyandot County Treasurers Office for many years. She was a 1954 graduate of Sycamore High School. For hobbies, Shirley bowled for many years at Bowlmor Lanes, Sycamore, and many other bowling alleys in the area. She loved to take bus trips to the casinos and she and Howard loved to travel, mainly going west to see family and friends.

Funeral services for Shirley will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore with granddaughter, Darcy Zimmerman, officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
