Sonny L. Ward, Jr.

Sonny L. Ward Jr., age 49 of 15777 Township Highway 82, Forest, Ohio died at 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in Fostoria, Ohio. He was born on November 7, 1972 in Tiffin, Ohio to Rick Leeth Sr. and Jennifer (May) Leeth. His father is deceased and his mother lives in Sycamore, Ohio. He married Melanie (Thacker) Ward on February 19, 2006 and she survives in Forest, Ohio. 

Surviving are the following children, Cody (Chelsea) Smith, Forest, Ohio, Cuyler (Natalie) McKee, Wharton, Ohio, Cloey Ward, Forest, Ohio and Carly Ward, Forest, Ohio, plus five grandchildren, Evony, Claytyn, Revelyn, Cassidy and Carsyn. Also surviving are six brothers, Chad (Rachnee) Ward, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Rick (Jeannie) Leeth Jr., Sycamore, Ohio, Randy (Kacy) Leeth, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Kyle (Kim) Leeth, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Mike Leeth, McCutchenville, Ohio and Danny (Natalie) Leeth, Sycamore, Ohio. 

Sonny had worked as an ironworker thru Local 55, Toledo, Ohio and also had a business Mae-Bel Aparies, which raises and sells honey. He was a master beekeeper, State Bee Inspector, was a Mohawk High School graduate, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and doing masonry work.

A memorial service for Sonny will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 11:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
